According to a US magazine, Birmingham is a better place to visit than London. I have an uncle who lives there but I can't say thatI've ever been. This does make it sound like an interesting and vibrant place though.

I knew a few people from uni who are from there and I've not really heard too many bad things about it.

I'm sure it has some cool stuff and I've liked Birmingham when I've been there I guess but overall if you were gonna go to just one London would make more sense. London has way more museums and arts (gets way more funding too like 70 quid for every 5 quid everywhere outside London gets) and basically most things are in London in some capacity. Like if you're looking for specific food, or specific fashion, or specific music or sports or anything really it's bound to be in London. London also has better transport links since as far as I know Brum doesn't have any trams or trains running within the city, although don't think Birmingham has much traffic compared to London. If you know that there's stuff for you to see in Brum then it's good since it will be way cheaper.

edit: does anyone know where what this New York paper said can be read?

I'm just a piece of trash.. but there are things I learned. The hole in your heart is something other people can fill.
If you reject your friends' feelings and this world..
Just because something didn't go as you wished, no one will ever come to you.
And so that hole won't be filled either, if you just run away without doing anything people won't do anything for you either..
As long as you don't give up, you can still be saved

Liking your own post is always a sign of confidence. (Unless you're Pelador he's exempt from all judgement).

But ye

If London can put up with Buuberries you know it's gonna be tolerant to the weirdest of tourists

Ye I heard Birmingham has some pretty sh** bits but I doubt the parts most tourists would go to would be too dangerous whereas in London the touristy bits (so basically near all the shops/museums and tube stations) probably have a lot of people who know there are lots of tourists who are easy targets.

I may not deserve to live, but I will protect those in my reach with my reverse blade!

I've been to London. Nothing there, totally waste of a trip.
